Little has been written about the military liaison missions.
Partly, this is due to the fact that it is not in their individuals’ natures. Partly, they sense a continued need for ‘secrecy’. And, partly, many of the participants are still alive.
However, increasingly, a small number of personal memoirs and wider associated contributions from all sides in the Cold War are emerging. Moreover, a steady interest in liaison activities is being expressed by the academic community.
